1. Step

Pour the apple juice into a saucepan and let it warm up over medium heat. It is important not to let the juice boil.

2. Step

Meanwhile, wash, dry and slice the oranges. Add these slices to the pot with the apple juice.

3. Step

Add the cinnamon, aniseed and cloves. Mix well.

4. Step

Cut the dried cranberries and apples into smaller pieces and put them in the pot as well.

5. Step

Leave everything together on a low heat under a lid for about 20 minutes. In that time, all the aromatic substances from the spices and fruit will be released and the punch will acquire a distinct and delicious flavour.

6. Step

Strain the punch after the time has elapsed. Serve the finished punch warm. Each serving can be garnished with a piece of orange or cinnamon.
