Extra Crispy Oven-Baked Chicken Wings

This recipe not only results in great tasting wings, it also helps to minimize the mess and health issues related with frying. You can choose to serve them as appetizers for a party or with a side of mashed potatoes or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- teaspoon garlic powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Your choice of dipping sauce (BBQ, ranch blue cheese etc.)

Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken wings, ensuring as much moisture is removed.
In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until well-coated with the spice-baking powder mixture.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 30 minutes at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
After 30 minutes, increase the oven temperature to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for an additional 45 minutes until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and let the wings rest for 5 minutes to allow the skin to further crisp.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
