Directions
Begin by heating 2 litres of milk in a large, thick-bottomed pan. Stir occasionally to avoid it from sticking to the bottom.
Once the milk comes to boil, add lemon juice, mix well, and continue boiling until it reduces to half its original quantity.
In a separate pan, prepare sugar syrup by boiling water and sugar together till it reaches a one-string consistency.
Add the reduced milk to the sugar syrup. Mix well to combine. Continue to cook on medium flame.
As the mixture starts thickening, add ghee and cardamom powder. Stir continuously to avoid the formation of lumps.
Keep stirring till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan. This indicates that the cake mix is ready.
Pour the mix into a greased tray and let it cool down. Garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
Once cooled, cut the Milk Cake into your desired shape and serve.
