Quick vadas sauce

Quick vadas sauce is one of my favourite recipes, and I make it most of the time when I want something easy, simple, yet tasty and nutritious. It's quick and easy to make and everyone in my family just loves it.

  • 500 g pork shoulder Added to
  • 400 ml Brown beer Added to
  • 2 large Head of onion Added to
  • 2 clove garlic Added to
  • 2 tablespoon oil Added to
  • 2 tablespoon flour Added to
  • 2 tablespoon Strong pista Added to
  • 1 teaspoon salt Added to
  • 1 teaspoon Ground pepper Added to
  • 150 g leafy greens Added to
  • 1 tablespoon Peppery spice Added to

1. Step

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and fry, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. It's important to note here that the golden brown onion gives the rich flavour to the sauce and will be the basis for the flavour of the other ingredients.

2. Step

Add the meat and fry in the onion oil on both sides. Sprinkle with the flour, pepper, salt and spices, then add the beer and vegetables.

3. Step

Cover and cook the meat until tender. Keep checking during this time and add a little more water if necessary.

4. Step

When the meat is tender, remove the lid and simmer the sauce until it thickens. Then add the strong pistachios.

You can serve it with pasta, rice or even mashed potatoes.
