Cute Frog Birthday Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 11⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 Cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 Cup crystal sugar
- 2 large eggs, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 Cup milk
- Buttercream filling
- Frog frosting
- Pretzel sticks
- Candy eyes

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Grease and flour a cake pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat until well combined.
Add the vanilla extract to the mixture.
Gradually, add the dry ingredients mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk, and beat until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely.
Buttercream Frosting: In a medium bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter until light and creamy.
Gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar, and continue to beat until the mixture is well combined.
Add 1 tbsp milk and mix until the mixture is smooth.
Add green food coloring and mix until the desired color is reached.
Frog Frosting: In a bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter until light and creamy.
Gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar, and continue to beat until well combined.

Spoon the frosting into a piping bag fitted with a plain round nozzle.
The Cake: Place the cake on a cake board.
Cut the cake in half horizontally.
Spread the buttercream filling on the bottom half.
Place the top half of the cake onto the buttercream filling.
Spread frog frosting on top and around the cake.
Insert pretzel sticks into the cake, creating the frog's legs.
Place candy eyes on top of the cake.
