How to cook Tuna and Potato Patties
These delicious tuna and potato patties are easy to make and perfect for a quick meal. Tuna, boiled potatoes, and breadcrumbs are the ingredients to a crispy satisfying dish.
Ingredients
- 2 boiled potatoes
- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1⁄2 Cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbls olive oil, for frying

Directions
In a large bowl, mash the boiled potatoes until smooth.
Add the drained tuna, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, dried parsley, salt and pepper to the bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
Form the mixture into 8-10 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Once cooked remove the patties from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
Serve the tuna and potato patties hot with your favorite dipping sauce or side dish.
