Put peeled sweet potato cubes into a pot and add enough water to cover them.

2. Step

Boil for 12-15, until tender.

3. Step

Once done, drain the water and transfer sweet cubes to a large bowl.

4. Step

In a separate pan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the minced garlic and cayenne powder and sauté 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the garlic butter mixture to the sweet potatoes and mash until smooth.
