Roasted beef with potatoes
Roasted beef with potatoes is a meal that is nutritious and tasty. It's the ideal choice for a family lunch, loved by every meat lover.
Ingredients
Beef
- 800 g beef
- 2 pcs onion
- 4 pcs garlic
- 1 twig rosemary
- 1 twig thyme
- 1 ts salt
- 1 ts ground black pepper

Directions
Clean the beef and dry it. Then rub it with salt and black pepper.
Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the meat and sear it on each side until it is beautifully brown. Then take it out and set it aside.
Add finely chopped onion and garlic to the same pan. Cook until the onion is soft and golden.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel the potatoes and carrots, cut them into smaller pieces and mix them with olive oil and salt. Distribute them evenly on a baking sheet.
Place the roasted beef on a tray among the potatoes and sprinkle with rosemary and thyme.
Put the tray in the oven and bake for about an hour, or until the potatoes are soft and the meat is cooked to your liking.
Before serving, let the meat rest for 5 – 10 minutes and then slice it. Serve the potatoes as a side dish with the meat.
